Hey Backers, we thought you’d like to know that we placed the order for our final prototype that includes our latest upgrades we told you about in the updates. We want to make sure everything is perfect before our manufacturer begins work on the production molds for 60 Second Salad!

URGENT: For those who are having issues with payments through Kickstarter, please login to your account and update your payment information within your account settings. You only have hours left to do this before Kickstarter automatically cancels your pledge!

We’d also like to address a few questions that keep on coming up in comments and messages:

How do I give you my shipping address?

We’ll send out a “survey” through Kickstarter within the next couple of weeks. The survey links to a service called BackerKit, which helps us manage fulfillment, and keeps everything organized. From there you will be able to add and/or edit shipping information.

Can I still add to my pledge for more 60 Second Salad makers?

Yes! As you are completing your survey through BackerKit, you’ll have the opportunity to add to your pledge for more salad makers. Early bird backers can add salad makers at early bird prices!

My friend wants one too. Is it possible to pre-order a salad maker?

We are so thrilled and couldn’t be more thankful for all of your support! THANK YOU to all our of Backers, to anyone who shared our project through social media, to those who talked about it, and those who shared their excitement with us!

Now, we look forward to running a successful post campaign! We have been busy finalizing manufacturing plans and will have some exciting production news to share soon!

Save Money and Waste Less Food with 60 Second Salad Maker!

If you’ve ever bought one of those pre-washed bags of lettuce or spinach leaves, then you already know they only last a few days before starting to go bad.  What a waste of money! Fact is, whole foods stay fresh and last much longer than pre-cut fruits and vegetables. With 60 Second Salad Maker, you can buy your fruits and vegetables whole and have more time before they spoil. This means less trips to the grocery store, less waste, better tasting salads made fresh, and less money down the drain; not to mention whole food are less expensive to buy than prepared foods.

In addition to the "Juice Moat", we added two small  “Rotation WIngs” to both sides of the slitted mechanism.  Now, it only takes 1 finger to rotate the top while the other hand holds the base in place.  We found this way much easier than trying to cup and twist the top part with your hand.

First of all, we wanted to start by saying THANK YOU backers for making 60 Second Salad Maker a hit!

Reading through your feedback, some backers mentioned that juice might spill out the sides and onto the kitchen counter while cutting a fruit salad- especially with those juicy melons!  So, we designed a simple solution to keep your counters clean and dry.

The “Juice Moat” collects and contains the juices within the 60 Second Salad Maker.  Great news - it only required a small tweak to the design and now you’ll be able to capture and drink the delicious, nutrient-rich juice. We’ve included an image below so you can see the new and improved design!
